ETU-LINK 40G QSFP+ optical module is a small form-factor pluggable optical module with four channels and a transmission rate of 40Gbps. It utilizes the QSFP+ (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus) interface, making it more suitable for applications with high port density compared to CFP optical modules. It supports a maximum transmission rate of 40 Gbps. It is commonly used in scenarios such as data centers, enterprise networks, and telecommunications networks for high-speed data transmission and communication.

    There are several main types of 40G QSFP+ optical modules:

    40GBASE-SR4: It supports link lengths of 100 meters and 150 meters respectively on OM3 and OM4/OM5 multimode fibers with MPO connectors.

    40GBASE-CWDM4: It supports a link length of 2km on OS2 single-mode fibers with duplex LC connectors.

    40GBASE-PSM4: It supports a link length of 10km on OS2 single-mode fibers with MPO connectors.

    40GBASE-LR4: It supports a link length of 10km on OS2 single-mode fibers with duplex LC connectors.

    40GBASE-ER4: It supports a link length of 40km on OS2 single-mode fibers with duplex LC connectors.

    40GBASE-ZR4: It supports a link length of 80km on OS2 single-mode fibers with duplex LC connectors.
