ETU-LINK 56G QSFP+ AOC is a highly efficient and integrated optical cable component product specifically designed for short-distance data communication and interconnection applications. It adopts the QSFP+ (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus) interface standard, enabling each channel to transmit data at a rate of up to 14.025Gb/s, thereby providing an aggregated rate of 56Gb/s. Additionally, this optical cable supports a maximum link length of 100 meters on OM3 multimode fiber and 150 meters on OM4 multimode fiber.

    Description

    ●The 56G QSFP+ AOC active optical cable is equipped with an 850nm VCSEL laser, a PIN array, as well as integrated driver and receiver chips. This allows it to support various standards such as InfiniBand FDR, 56G Ethernet, 16x Fiber Channel, QSFP MSA, and IEEE P802.3ba 40GBASE-SR4.

    ●Compared to traditional direct-attach copper cables, the 56G QSFP+ AOC active optical cable offers significant advantages. For instance, it has lower transmission power on the system link, weighs only one-fourth of a direct-attach copper cable, and has a slightly smaller volume, approximately half of that of a copper cable. Additionally, the optical cable exhibits better airflow and heat dissipation in the data center cabling system, has a smaller bending radius compared to copper cables, and offers longer transmission distances with superior bit error rate performance.
